Raised In Milwaukee, WI Renz Young first appeared on the Milwaukee Hip Hop scene in 2015 with his DEBUT EP 2975. Born Lorenzo Moody in Chicago, Renz began to build a relationship with music through his mother’s love for hip hop and his father’s love of poetry. Combining sounds of underground & mainstream hip hop, 2975 went on to garner local attention, powered by the single Congratulations, which was featured in Pigeons & Planes 5 On it section.

From There, renz went on to release NUMEROUS singles and projects, landing on publications such as 2DopeBoyz, Fake Shore Drive, Elevator, DJ booth, HipHop Dx, Respect Magazine, & More. As a D.I.Y. artist, Renz writes, records, and mixes most of his own music, along with his own graphic design.
